BRDA and the „Poetics of Necessity” at the London Design Biennale!

„Poetics of necessity” won the competition for the Polish pavillion at the London Design Biennale 2023, curated by Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam.

Next year’s Biennale will take place under the motto of „Remapping Collaborations”. The work representing Poland was prepared by Zofia Jaworowska (BRDA team!), Michał Sikorski (TŁO team!) and Petro Vladimirov. Michał Sikorski is a promising young architect with over a decade of experience working in France and Brussels. He also oversaw the work of BIPA (Warsaw University). Michał teaches urbanistic design at the Architecture Department of the Warsaw University of Technology and runs his own studio, TŁO. And you know Petro from the WINDOW project. Petro is a Ukrainian architect and artist, managing projects in the Direction office. This year, he was nominated to the PinchukArtCentre prize for Ukrainian artists under 35.
