We bring circular economy closer to architecture and design, cocreating a sustainable and socially engaged building sector. Material reuse rocks and we're here to show you why!

Help us pay for transporting windows to Ukraine: 66 1600 1462 1749 5523 3000 0001

The WINDOW project is still on.

Friday October 24th, 2025

The WINDOW project has been continuously part of our work since 2022. It enables us to donate reclaimed windows to Ukrainians in need, who are rebuilding homes, schools, cultural institutions and places of refuge. It’s only a small particle of what is needed on spot, but at the same time it’s one of the most environmentally and socially responsible practices we can undertake during the next year of the russian aggression towards Ukraine. Reclaimed windows here, in Poland, would be utilized, they would end up at a landfill, at best – they would be partially recycled. We practice reuse, which means using the building component in the exact same form. In effect, we reduce the carbon footprint of demolitions and thermal modernizations in Poland. It’s a win win situation – we lower CO2 emissions and the amount of waste generated in Poland, while social organizations in Ukraine receive fully functional PVC windows, which enable thousands of Ukrainians to sleep safely in their homes.

We spent summer sending windows to Kharkiv and Kherson straight from Sopot (with the support of the Sopot municipality!) and from Bielsko-Biała together with Aluprof. We also sent windows given to us by Warsaw citizens together with the city of Warsaw – they just reached Kherson through Odessa. Now, we are launching yet another edition of our cooperation with Alliade Habitat, sending French windows to those in need.

As of today, we’ve sent 3744 windows to those in need.

And we will keep going as long as we can.

The WINDOW project is still on. — BRDA*
