2024 is here
So, what’s up in 2024?
1. Window project. We have a zero tolerance policy towards being tired or, what’s worse, bored with war. War is here. And so is winter. That’s why we will keep on sending windows to Ukraine as long as we have funds to do so. Destination – Kharkiv and Kherson. We are waiting for the border to unclog and, as promised, we will ship 500 windows waiting in our storage unit ASAP. And then, we’ll grab another 500 from any demolition site that will have us. Rolling, rolling, rolling.
2. This year, we plan on clearing out even more offices and storage spaces giving new life to furnishings and building components, sharing what we have with Polish non-profits. We will bring material reuse and our demolition know-how closer to the public. Sustainability, social engagement, responsibility and cost reduction – hell, yeah.
3. Our BUDO platform will also evolve as part of the Sector 3.0 funding program. By the end of the year, we wish to launch an extended version of the project dedicated to cities and communes. We wish to show local municipalities how to share, sell and use their construction resources wiser. This will be a super cool project, guys!
4. Finally, we are waiting for funding for a new project – creating a comprehensive urban masterplan for Sviatohirsk. Our Polish-Ukrainian team will share their methodology, process and gathered data with other local administrations as an online open-source. Accessibility, sustainability and scalability are key here. And sharing is caring.
Happy New Year, everyone <3
